Group Review Meeting – May 2024

Last night (08/05/2024) the Group meet for our annual review. The evening started with the business part of the meeting which the Parents, Leaders, SASU and Explorer Scouts sat in while the young people were outside. This only took 15 minutes and then the young people joined us.
We were then able to recognise some of our leadership team; Megan Whitefield & Chloe Mayhew – Getting Started training and Ruth Glasse and Nichol LeMonier – 15 years of Adult volunteering. Welcoming a new member to our Support team, Dalibor Kasicky was invested.
The rest of the evening was filled with all the younger sections providing some entertainment.
The Squirrel Scouts show off their opening and closing songs their sing at every meeting.
The Beaver Scouts told us some jokes and sang a campfire song.
The Cub Scouts showed what they had learnt in their Disability badge, and a poem of their year.
The Scouts concluded the evening with a comical tale of a bee at their summer camp.
