Squirrel Scouts Winter Sleepover

What a brilliant weekend! Our Grey and Red Squirrel Scout dreys had an absolutely smashing Winter Sleepover.
We packed a whole 24 hours with fun, adventure, and sunshine. 21 excited Squirrel Scouts, 3 Young Leaders and 9 volunteers hopped on the bus and headed to Tilgate. We had an incredible time at Tilgate Nature Centre, even catching the meerkats at feeding time. We were so lucky to have gorgeous sunshine for our 5-6 hours of outdoor exploring. Back at the HQ, the fun continued with delicious biscuit making, creating mini campfire modules, a campfire with gooey marshmallows and yummy S’mores, ending with a movie night in our tents.
We hope all our Squirrels had the best time and made some amazing memories. We’re already buzzing with excitement and planning the Summer Camp.
