Spooktacular Scout Halloween Trail Delights All Sections – October 2023

Date: 22nd Jan 2024 Author: Mark Eastman

For last week’s section meetings, members of all ages gathered for a spine-tingling adventure at the Acorn Halloween Trail, a thrilling event that left participants with memories of fun and fright. The event, organized by the Scout leaders, brought Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers and SASU a night of eerie excitement. With spooky noises, jump scares and a winding trail through a foggy HQ. Everyone had a ghoulishly good time.

We want to extend our thanks to all the volunteers who helped set up, run the trail several times for each of the 8 sections and clear away to make this event a resounding success.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
