Happy St. George’s Day!

Date: 29th Apr 2026 Author: Mark Eastman
On Sunday, our group joined Scouts from across Crawley and beyond at the Bandstand to celebrate Scouting’s patron saint, St. George.
We were treated to a fantastic talk by Fr. Dominic from St. Margaret’s Church, who gave us some great insights into the story of St. George and what he represents for us today.
Highlights of the day was renewing our Promises: Every one of our members stood together to recommit to the values that make Scouting special.
We finished the celebrations with a proud parade back to Queen’s Square, showing off the best of Crawley Scouting!
A huge thank you to everyone who organized the event and to all the families who came out to support us. It was a brilliant reminder of the community we’ve built together.
