Cub Scout Taster Sessions at K2 – March 2024

This Sunday saw K2’s diving pool again full of kayaks, as we gave the Cub Scouts a taste of the fun of kayaking. The event organised and run by two of our Kayak instructors, Damien and Mark, assisted by some Explorer Scouts and Scout Network. Spread over three sessions 40 Cubs had a chance to try out the kayaks along with experiencing how the safety kit, buoyancy aids work and keep them afloat.
Another great afternoon, seeing all the cubs having great fun and enjoying getting wet.
