Squirrel Summer Camp 2026

This weekend, both 2nd Ifield Squirrel Scout Dreys came together for our annual summer camp. We had a fantastic time exploring Washbrooks Family Farm together.
During the campfire, we sang Singing in the Rain, which did actually cause the heavens to open! After the rain settled down, everyone enjoyed a movie before bed.
The Squirrels then enjoyed a cooked breakfast this morning before being collected by their parents.
Camps provide young people with the opportunity to make new friends and experience activities and adventures that cannot always be achieved during the weekly one-hour meetings. For many Squirrels, camps are also the first time spending a night away from home or family members, making it a very special experience.
Thank you to all the leaders for the hard work and effort that went into making the weekend such a success.
