Return to Face to Face Meetings

As from Monday (29th March) the Scout Association allowed Scout to return to outdoor social distancing meetings. This allowed some of our Group to return this week with Beavers exploring Stanford Campsite and Bunhan Park, some of the cubs running around the village green and the Explorer Scouts meeting up at the HQ. These were the first face to face meetings this year. It was great to hear the young people enjoying themselves and seeing their faces when they met up. These meetings meant over 75 young people have experienced ‘live’ scout meetings. Those who have not met this week are all planning to return in the near future.

One of the Explorer parents wrote on our social media “Just wanted to say thank you! My two came home stinking of fire, which made me very happy. Proper scouting!”
